Not sure what happened to February - I don't seem to have posted, though I have added photos of some February items to the website. The big news for February is that I SOLD one of the pictures at the Sock Gallery exhibition in Loughborough Town Hall. Only realised when we came to take it down last Monday. It was an offcut from my Spring Hedgerows 3 piece - which I originally finished to add to the MTF banner. When we renewed the banner about 5 years ago, I had it back and mounted it on a small canvas for display. I had some thoughts of remounting it to fit the next MTF theme - "On the Threshold" - but hadn't got round to it! I also sold a mounted "Textile Experiment" piece from the course about 8 years ago, and several cards. So quite a successful exhibition for me. On the strength of that, I've started a new weaving, using some of the textured knitting yarns I used in the Hedgerow pieces. The working title is "Woodland Edge"
