Things are almost back to normal, after the disruption of the Nottingham exhibition and Open Studios, in spite of my broken wrist. When I came away from stewarding the Nottingham exhibition, I thought I'd sold my Summer Sea shawl, and the Urban Landscape hanging. Unfortunately not, but I did take £70 for cards and textile flowers. Open Studios was good in parts. We had 10-12 visitors the first couple of days, and I had two visits from textiles groups during the week, but there were only 3 visitors on the second Saturday (perhaps due to Moseley Arts Market?) The last day was a bit better - and I did take a reasonable amount, including selling my Night City X watercolour and the green-blue shawl. Need to do some more hedgehog and cat cards once I get the plaster off my wrist, even if I don't have any particular outlets in mind...
