| Notes: | Piece of silk noil, ecoprinted on Caroline Nixon's Jan-Feb 2021 course. This was a sample, trying the effect of different ways of folding the fabric. The silk was dipped in iron solution first, and steamed for half an hour. Leaves used were tree peony, catkins and cut leaf blackberry in the middle, with eucalyptus leaves on the outside of the concertina, and the fabric then rolled up with a barrier. I haven't decided what to do with this now |
