| Notes: | Piece of silk noil, ecoprinted on Caroline Nixon's Jan-Feb 2021 course. This was a sample, trying lots of different leaves, overlapping them. The silk was dipped in iron solution first, and steamed for half an hour. I put dried eucalyptus leaves at the edges, with freshly gathered leaves from the garden. (from the top): blackberry, herb Bennet, strawberry, tree peony, hazel catkin, more tree peony, cut-leaf blackberry, artichoke, strawberry, dried vine leaf. Haven't decided what happens next to this piece |
