| Notes: | Woven shawl/hanging commissioned by my cousin in Kilmory, having seen my "happy place" weaving in April. The warp (vertical) is mostly Colinette space-dyed mohair/nylon, the weft is a mixture of mohair/nylon and other novelty yarns, woven using short sections to give the "waves" in the foreground. Some of the yarns were natural dyed, but most are commercially dyed. Woven on holiday in Kilmory August 2021 |
